Shorter Doug Parris: Terry Schiavo is an example of why we should oppose socialized medicine… even though that was pretty much the only thing that would have kept her alive (in a persistent vegetative state).

He’s been harassing me by email. It’s amusing, because he still hasn’t been able to dispute this… he just rants on and on and on, and then claims I’m going to hell.

No, he’ll never be able to wrap his head around it. He doesn’t understand socialized medicine in terms of the reality of how it works in every other countries. He only understands how it works within his paranoid fantasies.
