Rossi
Gearing up to perhaps this time get close enough that he can steal the election (or at the very least have the verdict in the case where he tries not be written in a dismissive tone before it’s kicked to the curb with prejudice by the judge his party wanted) Dino Rossi is talking to people. And Respectfully Fuckwad is writing about it. And I’m writing about him writing about it:
Just watched the archived video of Robert Mak’s KING 5 program, Up Front, from yesterday. Guess who the special guest was discussing Gregoire’s budget and legislative shenanigans?
Well since the title of the post has Dino Rossi’s name that’s a toughie. I hope you don’t keep us in the dark for too long.
Dun dun dun: Dino. (Note: scroll through most of the Walmart drivel if you just want to watch Dino’s debut @ approx 10:00–though you’ll miss some context)
Republicans don’t like context. And also, having someone who isn’t in the legislature, isn’t a part of the party leadership, and hasn’t been in elected office for 3 years speaking for Republicans really underscores the problems with their depth chart. Yes, he’s the frontrunner for the Republican nomination for governor if he wants it, but that’s pretty thin gruel.
Dino gets in some good zingers, including a key metaphor on the budget from the real-estate world! He also nails the question on the Viaduct: with the recommendations from the experts and staff before him, Dino answered that he would have, *GASP*, MADE A DECISION! Plus, an extra feature on the Mak show: David Postman beams in from DC (ostensibly just to knock Dino), and Chris Vance squares off with Cathy Allen to talk Viaduct, state budget, and the future of the Sonics.
See, that’s bullshit. Like when he said he was refusing to vote for all the initiatives because he was so mad at the voters for having passed earlier initiatives. He could have chosen to play a leadership role in initiative reform, but instead he just half assed it. The same here: he could have said Gregoire should have picked X plan and then explained its benefits. Instead he half assed it and said if more people had voted for him he’d have done something, but why be specific about it?
As for my man Dino–he is speaking at the UW on Wednesday at 7pm to the College Republicans.
Your man? Well, if he’s got the fuckwad endorsement, he’ll go far.
Now for the main question: does any of this mean that Dino’s back? He tells Mak it’s not safe to assume he’s running, but it sure looks like he’s FINALLY ratcheting things up for another run…for now I’ll just second what’s been said before: More Please!
I’d rather the Republicans lose again, too.

“…with the recommendations from the experts and staff before him, Dino answered that he would have, *GASP*, MADE A DECISION!”
Yeah, ’cause he’s the Decider. Rossi and Respectfully may be the only persons left on the planet who still believe in this style of ‘leadership’. (And, in this specific case, having a Gov. Deciderer ram his choice into the public face of the city which voted overwhelmingly against him sure makes for an obvious path to executive success.)

Robert Mac is Rossi’s bitch. If golfer Rossi is going to be asked questions about the states budget and policy then he should get follow up questions when he dodges the questions. Only Rossi’s bitch would sit back and take whatever the golfer came to spew. Woof woof.

Republicans are stupid. (Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Don’t say anything, they don’t know it)
